Ascendive's platform provides you the opportunity to not only harvest and reuse your IP with your best consulting practices, it also allows you to deposit IP back into the IP Bank after it has been used. You can then compare various versions of the same IP content to determine what is best and then use the best version of the IP going forward. This is a closed-loop feed-back mechanism that continually improves the quality of your IP.

1. Withdraw: As a project starts the Project Manager initiates a new project in Ascendive and stages relevant content from master templates. Project Contributors can also search for and then withdraw additional content from the IP Bank, even if it is not in the template (perhaps from a previous project).

2. Use: Project Contributors use this best content to perform their activities leveraging on the past experiences of your company’s prior engagements.

3. Improve: As Project Contributors use this content they can update it and improve upon it. They can also create additional content for new or unique application functionality, like an upgrade with new features being implemented for the first time.

4. Deposit: As Project Contributors use this content they are saving it back into the IP Bank daily.

5. Review and Compare: As the project progresses and also when the project is completed, your team performs a project debrief process to analyze what content was improved and what was new. This new and improved content is then added to the master template and becomes part of your best practices going forward.
